While in junior high in 1971, I discovered computers at the local university and have delighted in building things and sharing my discoveries ever since. I learned Smalltalk in the mid-1990s, and became a passionate advocate for object technologies and agile methods. I teach Computer Science at Walla Walla University and serve as VP of Finance and Operations for GemTalk Systems. I enjoy consulting on projects and presenting at technical conferences.
